DPP fitness clients have the opportunity to work one-on-one with certified fitness instructors. Our fitness instructors are certified in personal training from nationally accredited organizations (i.e. ACE, NASM, ACSM, etc.). DPP fitness clients can obtain individualized and specialized fitness programs designed by our fitness instructors. If you enjoy working out alone, this is the style of training for you!
Each DPP exercise client can get their body composition measured through our InBody machine. The InBody measures each of the following: weight, height, total body water, lean body mass, fat body mass, BMI, and body fat percentage.
A1c tests are offered to all of our DPP patients/clients. A1c is a simple blood test that measures an individual’s average blood sugar level over the past 3 months. A1cs are measured throughout the year at the DPP Wellness Center and at community screening events.
Our DPP clients’ blood glucose is monitored both before and after exercise (if necessary) and during pre-measurements. Blood glucose levels are monitored for safety reasons (i.e. hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia, etc.).
